Raebel’s powerful and distinct vocal style, combined with the songs’s elements of dancehall and afrobeat made mini skirt an instant anthem among music lovers.
The visuals for the song also did the song justice. The video is a beautiful piece of art, a work of art in motion. A very simple video, but it captures the essense of the song in the most sincere way.
Raebel’s hair will definately catch your attention, her costumes are a reminisce of the early lady Gaga, though not as crazy but we can definately picture a version of Lady gaga in afrobeats.
The instant sing-along chorus captures her lyric, ‘I’m Not Like Your Other Girls,’ in the most beautiful and authentic way that a lot of girls can relate to.
Miniskirt is definately a great discovery of the year, and a good way to start 2022
