Music Review ( Peru by Fireboy X Ed Sheeran )

When fireboy DML released Peru earlier this year. It was like we havent had anything as beautiful as that when it comes to Afrobeat music. As simple as it is, the music sounded surreal and beautiful.

Considering that the song started as only a freestyle in the studio, its unbelievable how awesome the final version of the song is.

the song did really good on its first release and it enjoyed massive airplay. one would have thought this is it, Peru by Fireboy could not have been made better. yeah..this was perfect. but boy are we wrong. The song could be made better.

few months down, Fireboy dropped the remake of the song but this time, it featured Ed Sheeran, A four time grammy award winner.

The song retains Fireboy earlier lyrics but Ed sheeran part is the only new addition to the song.

honestly, the song could have gone left but suprisingly Ed flowed well with the beat, he sounded just as if Ed has been making afrobeat music all his life. it was very impressive.

For the job well done, I think Its time to give Ed his Yoruba name, Edunola Oluwasheeran..

Kudos to Fireboy DML on the song Peru. this is another masterpiece from a Nigerian act.
